Amateur Photographer, as in amare…

Photographically active since 1973, starting with a Praktica LTL3 (who didn't, in holland),

then along photo-clubs and a lot of (expensive) experiences from 35mm to medium format and back, and again…

In 1985-1998: little foto-activities (girlfriend, family, career, the right priorities)

Since 2002 only working with Pinhole for 'serious' photography

Current photo club: FC OEPS, member since 1999, the start of the second photo-life and true passion

Regular workflow: I make the picture on 120 roll film, have it developed (color) or develop it myself (B&W),

and scan the image for print/publication, and sometimes have the negative enlarged directly

Photographic preferences:

Pinhole: color and black-and-white, (very) close ups, movements and 'strangeness', but actually ANYTHING can be done in pinhole !!!

Black and white: still life, industrial sites, (urban) landscape, decay, obscure/abandoned things

and especially: night shots

Apparatus:

After a lot of searching and (expensive) " trading in/out", I've finally become a little wiser,

my current setup consists of:

with lens:only Olympus XA and some other collectors (all unemployed)

Gossen sixtomat digital (transparant edition)

pinhole D1 t/m D11, medium format 6X6 - 6X9 cm

(extreme wide-angle through normal)

pinhole D3 polaroid packfilm

(extreme wide-angle)

Pinhole blender 120 (3-hole cookie can)

Newer stuff:

Panasonic LX3, little digital miracle

Amateur fotograaf ("vrije fotograaf", volgens de fotobond)

Fotografeert sinds (ongeveer) 1973, begonnen met een Praktica LTL3 (wie niet),

daarna via fotoclub en veel schade en schande van kleinbeeld naar middenformaat, daarna terug naar kleinbeeld en toch weer naar rolfilm…

Van 1985-1998: weinig foto-activiteiten (vriendin/vrouw, gezin, carriere, terechte prioriteiten)

Sinds 2002 eigenlijk alleen nog met pinhole fotografie bezig voor het 'serieuze' werk.

Huidige fotoclub: FC OEPS (zie betreffende artikel), lid sinds 1999, start tweede fotoleven, en begin van de echte hobby/passie

Standaard workflow: Ik maak de foto op rolfilm 120, ontwikkel (zwartwit) of laat ontwikkelen (kleur),

en scan het beeld voor afdrukken of publiceren, en soms laat ik het negatief direct vergroten

Foto-voorkeuren:

Pinhole: kleur en zwartwit, (erg) dichtbij, beweging en vervreemding, maar eigenlijk ALLES kan met pinhole!!

Zwart wit: stillevens, industrie, (stedelijk) landschap, vervallen/verlaten dingen, natuur

en vooral ook: nachtopnames

Kleur: (stedelijk) landschap, stillevens

Apparatuur:

Na veel omzwervingen en (dure) inruil wijzer geworden nu het volgende rijtje

met lens: allen nog een Olympus XA en wat andere klassiekers (voor de vitrine)
